      it seems to me as tho dcc cant log into the dreambox ,those screen dumps are a bit small to view with any great detail but i see the default user and passwords are displayed (have you changed either of these ) is the ip of the dreambox (displayed in dcc) correct ,click on the ip address below the picture of the dreambox and a box will appear with search on the left hand top corner (click on search ,it will take about a minute) it may display 2 ip addresses one being the box ip address and the other being the router ip ,ensure you double click on the dreambox ip to accept it and not the router ip. if you have the correct ip and the default username and passwords havent been changed i suggest you try another dreamup .
      i love it when a dreambox comes together.

        if u have a router u need to change them setting and u need to put the pass and login in m8

          got it sorted connected with rs232 serial cable friend had one so every thing ok now thank everyone for your time and help cheers

                    hi guys put Gemini 4.2.0 on my dream box this morning and can now connect with dcc no probs so all sorted at last thanks to everyone on here for there help

                      Just stumbled over this thread,

                      open DCC
                      click on experts
                      change ftp type from active to passive.
                      This should connect for you.
