Dm500v8 first time set up

Hi people,
I'm a new member to the site.
I'm waiting on a Dm500v8 box being delivered.After reading a lot about it,I don't know where to start,or what I need to get up and running.I've searched everywhere but keep finding different programs and different ways to set up the box.Does anyone have a tutorial or guide as how to set up and what tools/programs i need.

ya i have one its the same as a dreambox use dreamup to install image i used a jade pli one
then do your scan and connect to router etc
