where do I FTP Picons to on the DM500s

Does anyone know were this gos ive hunted everywhere and tried putting the picon file in these locations:

/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/skins
/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/pictures
/var/etc
/var/tuxbox/config/

What am i missing they are enigma 1 picons so thats not the problem?

I'm running Pli Jade 3.

Also am I right in saying I dont need to restart the box?

i think just download them via the remote , then there should be a file you can find , and deleat them and add the ones you want to the same file , not tryed it yet but should work

would think best to restart in , you can save the epg file first , then readd it later

hey guys in both of the locations that use have given me there is no picons folder.

just add one , i did it via the remote i add sky picons fome jade server then deleated inside the folder and copyed the new ones over,

but you could just add a folder named picon , may work?

yes it should be ok but it does take up a lot of space on E1 boxes that do not have a HDD or usb stick such as the dm500.

Woo i got there in the end . Thanks again guys. I was trying to install the 28.2 Sky uk Plicon and there wasnt space for that so went with the 28.2 common, went in changed the file over and thats me. Also never needed to restart the box.

Went with the x-line skin looks pretty smart but can only see picon when press info. Just glad i got it in the end

nice just put blackbox on thats what i had before putting on the picons.

The only thing i dont like about the blackbox skin is that there is no channel number.

i use the open pli image on my DM600 and DM7020 with the army dreams skin on both as it shows ecm times for my sky card amongst other things

also where does silverfox update is picons when needed mate?

that skin works for all E1 based dreamboxes running any pli based image. not sure about the E2 boxes though.

as for silverfoxes bouquets / picons. he updates them very regularly some times several times a week. he hates them being out dated. you can always find them via the link i posted as he's a beta tester for the VIX team and a moderator there too, or here when i have time to post them.
