dreambox 500 s green light issue

    Hi Guys great forum..
i bought a dreambox 500s the other day from dreamboxshops.co.uk.
i recieved the box flashed it with gemini 4.6 i then re flashed it with dk 1.1.. when i turn my box on i get no picutre and its stuck on the green light.. ive heard ways to re flash using a null modem cable.. but software wont speak to my dreambox through a com port and dreambox isnt putting out a i.p address .. i am stuck now and just wonderd if you could help out ...

ive searched everywhere but cant find the right help is my box broken

usb to rs232 cable never worked for 99% of us, best to ask a m8 with a old pc to let you use it.
as far as i know only 1 guy on here had it working.

You need a serial port to connect null cable to.
