Weird Issue with my Dreambox 500s

Ok so I finally bought myself a dm 500. have installed Pli Jade Image on it. I have also installed a channel boquet on it but I have a problem. On every channel (including the FTA ones) all that comes up is the background (A green one with Jade think green on it. Look at attatched image) and not the channel. When I go into the info button it says that there is 0% SNR and SNG. The satellite dish is connected to astra 28.2e and is working fine on my freesat box I have also tried it using my motorized dish (which is also pointing at 28.2 ) and the same comes up and I cannot find the settings for either changing the tp or motorised dish settings on the box. How can you do this?
Does anybody have any suggestions on what to do to rectify this situation and let me watch the channels?

the image you used is likely faulty or corrupt i would reflash the box ,get the same image from a different source or try a different image .before reflashing i would perform a flash erase ,open dream up and look just above where you see flash and you should see flash erase (click on that it only takes a few seconds ) and then flash the box as normal.

Ok thanks. I reflashed my box this time with Nabliosat but now I have a new problem on every channel I go into on every sat astra1 astra2 and hotbird I get the same message " switch Service could not be found" As I said earlier I have 2 sat dishes a motorised and a freesat one. And I have tested the satellites on different receivers and there is nothing wrong with them. When I go into the Streaminfo it says
SNR 0%
AGC 0%
Ber 0%
X LOCK X SYNC

What am I doing wrong? and also how do you go into the motorised setup in the Dreambox?

i use jade my self but at the start when you scanning are you choosing astra2 not the old astra sat ?? i think i have your no. i'll give ya a buzz

I think there is a problem with my dreambox because when I go into menu- setup. The options that are there are: service organising, system settings, parental lock, expert setup and blue panel but service searching does not appear.

This means that I cannot go into the satellite options like motorised and adding multiple lnbs. I think this is the problem with the box it thinks I am using a multiple lnb setup when I am not. But without being able to access service searching I will not be able to rectify the matter.

By the way I am currently using Gemini 4.0 and I have already tried with both nabliosat and jade3 and I had the same issue.

sob i think your tuner is either faulty or has worked loose ,you say its new if so send it back for a replacement or you could get your screwdriver out and have a look ,personally i would send it back.

Thanks again for your reply. But I do not understand that if the tuner is faulty. The dreambox should still give me the option of searching the services because I do not know for sure if the tuner is faulty or not becauseI never found the options to edit the motorised setup. So does anyone have any idea on how top find the service searching button?
