Dreambox 500s and Motor

I have a clone dreambox 500s, and just have my satelitte fixed pointing to hotbird 13 deg.

I would like to put a motor on my dish but i have a few questions before i do it.

Is a dreambox 500s powerful enough to move the dish on a motor as i have read on other forums that it isnt?

If it is do i just need to install the motor then download the list of satelittes from the downloads and then hay presto its done?

I know i may have a simplistic view to this, maybe its just wishful thinking it will be that easy!

Kenny. your box is fine. and yes you will need to load a set of channel settings you will find on here ( I use catseyes). If you have access to more channels then you should consider a motorised dish. If you are determined you will be able to fit one, but before you dive in, a few things to check.

Where to site it garden/wall/roof. make sure it is south facing and that the dish can turn and not hit anything.
The pole mount needs to be perfectly plumb.
Read up as much as you can, all the info you need is in the stickies. It might drive you mad for a while, up to you mate
