What are you looking to be able to do? Scan for channels and you will be able to receive all FTA channels .

does the box have an image on it mate (an image is the tv software ) there are many different images.power the box off and then power it back on and look at the tv screen ,it may say the GP or nabilosat or pli etc ,if it has an image you can go through the installation process which is choosing your language and setting the clock (if your dish is a fixed dish you choose one single satellite) and then you choose the satellite you want to scan for channels on if its the sky satellite its called astra/eurobird 28.2 east.

if your box has no image on it you will have to do whats called flashing the box ,thats simply putting the image into your box . if you can get back to us with as much info as you can we will try and help you mate.
