DM500 C and DM500 S

I have a DM500 C, i was wondering if i could use it as a DM500 S?

It has got same port where it fits.

the tuner needs to be a sat tuner for it to work as a satbox at the moment it will have a cable tuner. its not worth the messing about with the soldering iron when you can get a 500s for less than 50quid if you google for them

i have to agree with wilf ,the tuner can be changed to a satellite tuner if your handy with a soldering iron but its hardly worth the time and cost. you can get a dm500s for under ?50 as wilf said have a look here
