    dreambox 500s scanning problems

    Problem here that hopefully you guys can help with..
    I'm getting all the channels i should be getting with my set up, but thought id rescan ready for sky atlantic.
    Problem is, the scan gets to first channel found then returns to default start up channel.
    Now as I say, all the channels are working fine, so im guessing its not a tuner prob.
    However i am a bit worried about reflashing to sort it in case i cant scan anything on initial set up again.
    Anybody experienced this before?

      its not broadcasting till first of febuary might be the problem

          Didn't know the exact start date, but whether its broadcasting or not, the box should still scan when i tell it to

              do a Manuel transponder scan, but make sure you tick the network search.

              new chs shouls be found with the blind scan me thinks .

              p.s yes it should , have you tryed rebooting it?
