How to copy everything from a dreambox??

    Hi guys,
I am after just a simple solution, i have seen threads on here but some dont make sense and not what i am looking.

I have a dreambox 500s (i think its a clone from china i think) and I am watching all sly channels, and i want to copy everything from that dreambox to the pc and then transfer that all from the pc to another dreambox 500s, but i dont want it to mess any files up from my 1st dreambox, i want to still view all sly channels from the 1st dreambox.

I have the following software, dreamup and flashwizard, which one should i use and the best.

I have order a null modem cable, well the one ive order has a usb conversion so it can be used in windows 7.

    Any help guys.

    Thanks

With dreamup do a backup of your working dm500, then flash that image to the new dm500, it will work just like the one you already have set up.

right ok, will that do any effective to my first dreambox?

I have read up somewhere that dreamup will only backup setting and not the entire thing, i did hear flashwizard will back everything up but I dont wanna be touching any settings which will mess up my 1st dreambox. i need a proper tururial on how to back up with flashwizard but cant find it anywhere.

      Is this true??

yes it is.. follow the guide in plasterers link. you may need to enable telnet in win7 as its disabled by default.
              1. Start
              2. Control Panel
              3. Programs And Features
              4. Turn Windows features on or off
              5. Check Telnet Client
              6. Hit OK

After that you can start Telnet via Command Prompt.
