DM500 Won't Boot up properly?

Hello, I really need your help people.

I decided to flash my DM500 with a Nabilosat DarkStar II Image, using DCC. However when I turn on my Dreambox, it shows the: Time Settings and Language, but when I save it pressing the 'Green Button' it starts to reboot itself, it happens every-time I do this.

So I bought my self a PCI Serial Port Card, as my PC didn't have a serial port for the null cable, however I can't seem to install the drivers for Serial Port card.

So in other words I am having trouble connecting to DreamUp. Without this I can't flash my Dreambox

Is there any help you can give me?

I'm also having the same problem, did you manage to get it sorted?

Try removing the PCI card and re-booting the PC with it removed. Then switch off and install it again - that sometimes works.

Also check if you can find different drivers, especially if using a newer OS like Win7
