Flashing problem

Hi

I flashed my dm518s with this image

Darkstar v II Emu 2.2.1 Skin Rihanna By Roniothman

Now, the receiver will not switch on, it tries to boot, gets to the splash screen then cuts out.

I cannot get DCC or DreamUp to recognise the box.

Any ideas?

Would really appreciate some help as I am a DM newbie.

Check to make sure you have flashed the correct image for your box. You could just have a bad flash and maybe need to reflash your box but try a different image.

sounds like a power problom , if your using a 2/3 pin adapter try a differnt on, some times the shaver ones wont work to good.

Thanks for the fast help.

It was a problem with my RS232 adapter - I used an old PC with a com port and everything is up and running!
