What do i Need for a Dreambox 500s setup?

I'm new to Sat but really want to learn i picked up Dbox fairly quickly so i'm hoping its similar. I need to know if i can use my Sly Lnb and Dish with a dreambox dm500s or whether i need a better lnb/dish. Also should my dish be motorised? all help much appreciated.
