    NIGHTLY OPENPLI BUILDS dm600pvr

hi everyone...I just moved from gemini to nightly openpli build and wondering that if I want to update the pli software do I have to flash my box or can I do it online just by going to menu-setup-software management, etc.

    Thanks.

You can update directly from the software menu, back up your bouquets and cam configuration files first though so you can restore them afterwards .

personally i would not touch the nightly builds as they can a frequently do result in a non stable box.

I've been using various different OpenPLI nightly builds for over a year nerver had any instability issues. Even if tyou go get an issue, eaaily fixed with DreamUp, just reload a previous image.

The only other alternative from PLI is PLI Jade which is quite out of date.
