dm500s time and date wont store

hello guys how can i keep my time and date stored in my dreambox 500 s when i goto work i turn it off by the plug so the power supply and box doesnt over heat with it being a clone cheap chinese make and when i turn it on i have to adjust date and time is there a way of storing it so i dont have to do keep adjusting it thanks very much

Leave it plugged in, and put box in standby when not in use. Unplugging the device is overkill and not neccesary..while the PSU's are not fantastic on clones...theyre not that poor either, i've only had 1 fail in 3 years...left on 24/7.
