Streaming Dreambox To Internet Problem

Hi,

I have managed to follow a guide on how to stream my Dreambox on the internet but there is a little problem.

I have forwarded my PC port to 8080 and dreambox port to 80 and 31344 and I can view my dreambox channels over my entire LAN.

The problem is that when I am outside my house, and use VLC to access my dreambox, I type my public IP/video.m3u (VLC also asks me for my dreambox username and password...so far so good) but when it comes to access my dreambox IP:31344 (after asking me for username and password), it gives me an error that it could not find the file.

Can someone please tell me what could be wrong? This is the last step for me to perform to be able to view my dreambox anywhere on the net

I have a blade BMs 500 box up untill wednesady it was working fine -no probs, I turned it on next day and nothing. Ive tried all the cables and tested them but they are fine, its connected via ethernet plugs and checked all those, they seem fine. When I put the box on theres no signal nothing. I showed the bloke I bought it off and it seems to work no problem. Any Ideas?

Hi,

What do you mean by no signal? Is there a picture shown on the TV? If yes, have you contacted your service provider? (the one who gives you access the channels)
