Dreambox dm 800 hd cable is defect, transistor is broken

Hi,

I have a dreambox dm 800 hd cable and it was working for 5 minutes. And then the signal was decreased from 85% to 36%. I opened the box and removed the c tuner and saw a broken transistor on the mainboard. It was not solded on the mainboard. I don't know if I did it my self when I removed the c tuner or it was broken before I removed the c tuner.

Does someone know where this transistor must be solded on the mainboard?

And what is exactly the problem know? Is it the c tuner which is defect or the transistor which is broken?

That part is from a tuner, does yours have one missing? if not perhaps it was accidently dropped in at factory.. it looks like its from a sat tuner

I have here a picture of my c tuner and a picture of the same c tuner founded on the internet. They are the same. They have 2 elco's. So the elco which is broken is not from the c tuner I think

yes i think its a spare part that dont belong to that box looks like its from a sat tuner mate..! must of been dropped in by mistake at factory

No, I didnt find the place where it should be. I think it doesnt belong to the dreambox and only snipped away at the fabrique.

I have add a good working s tuner to this defect dreambox and it worked good. So the other c tuner is defect. I am going to buy another one.
