    How can I tell type tuner in Dreambox 800

    I have a new Dreambox 800HD clone and is supposed to have the new M type tuner. Can I tell from somewhere that the box has this newer type tuner.I

    If it dont glitch and has high signal you have 801a rev M,

    if it does glitch on HD you have L3 or rev M 401a

      If look inside the box, or in the menu
      Searching on the net seems to suggest that there are 2 tuners referred to as rev M - 401a and 801a.

      The 801a is the best but only works with the rev L of the motherboard. I know that my motherboard is the older J version, so I can't have one of those. The 401a isn't much different to the L3 as far as I understand it.
      Perhaps someone has more information? If you are buying a clone it is best that you established, that it has the latest tuner.

          Open the screws slide the top across and you will see the tuner and it will have either 401 or 801 on it

                  401a = L3 but 801a = M
