    Permanent Timeshift

    is it recommended to enable permanent timeshift on a dm800 with a usb powered external hdd? Will the box get too hot?

      why would the box get hot?
      Wavefield Ds 55cm at 13E 19E and 28E receiving everything out there on 2 dm800hd

          Thats what i've heard. Prolly cos it powers the hard drive?

              I use a 1gb usb stick for my epg and a 1tb ext HDD. Use a laptop cooler to keep it all cool, but the ext HDD makes no difference.

                  Whenever i playback what i've rewinded, It's always jerky. Anyone know how i can fix the prob?
