    DM800 with NAS

    Members

I am hoping one of you fine users can offer me some assistance or forward me to a page which has the info.

I have currently have 2 x dm800 HD with sata HDD. Which i use to record, play etc. The current image on both boxes are NewEnginma 3.14

    I have just purchased a D-Link DNS-323 NAS device with 2 x 2tb HDD.
The NAS is linux based and will be attached to my home network directly into the router with a static ip address. With 2 disks shared from the root directory. More than likely i will upload some hacked firmware(still need to do some reading on this)

I would like to do the following/have the following functionality

    1) Remove the current attached HDD on both of my DM800
    2) Connect the NAS to the DM800. Then allow the DM800 to record directly onto the NAS Drive
    3) Then play back from any of the DM800 the files recorded on the NAS.
    4) Play downloaded media via the net etc on the DM800

Any help will be geniunely appreciated on if the above can be done and how

    Regards
