Is this Worth ?220

Hi

may be a stupid question as i am a newbie with this

I was gonna get a dm800 which will also get me for the first 3 months all SKYUk channels for ?220..all set up etc

And then ?15 per month there after for all the channels which will be around ?100 worth.

IS this worth ?220 for an intial set up? or can i simply do all this myself?

Anmd can i get the ?15 per month stuff for free or cheaper elsewhere?

You can pick up a DB800 for approx ?130-00 import from China, and you can set it up for your self following threads on here, and ?15-00 a month is a bit steep for sly uk i think, you can get multi sats for that price for a little bit more and get most sports, films etc if you have a motorised setup, but can't discuss here regarding clines.

So the answer to your question is do it your self saving you approx ?70-00 minus your subscription.

Oh yes its only a few things to set up importing your Ccam / file, and bouquets, setting box up for the type of dish you have fixed or motor, and then once you found your cline all should be good.

I dont think it's worth the extra ?s when you can do it yourself, and when it goes t*t's up you will have the knowledge to do it your self simple's once you know how.

he says the box is identical to the Dm800 but he cant sell the DM800 due to copyright infringements, is he right or spinning me a yarn?

no reason why he cant sell u a dm800, but good price, dont forget tho that price wont include and channels ( u still need a subscription)

he was selling on ebay as a business seller so he said he cant be an official re-seller.

When you say won't include channels u mean i will need to get a line to provide my channles?

well to be honest many people sell clone dm800s but if he a business i can see why he doesnt, and if u wanna go down the line route then yes if not need an offical card for the channels u wanna receive

I know where you can get a spiderbox hd and a gbox hd all come with 12 mths for around ?250 or a 500s for ?150 inclusive. but the dreamboxes have far more support than either of the other two

Make sure it has that correct tuner M not the later versions K, L tuner or you will experience glitchng on your HD channles, and that will p+ss you right off.

perhaps i wasnt clear enough all boxes come with subscription for 12 months but we cant talk about that on the forum
