usb dvb t tuner

ordered one of these tuner just waiting on it coming to test it out, can someone plz tell me this can i plug a satellite cable that runs from my dish to this or am i way off . does the we antenna pick up 28.2e channels.

You're way off... Its DVB-T usb dongle, for recieving terrestrial DVB-T broadcasts (such as Freeview) via a TV aerial... Most people use them on a Laptop or PC, the people here are plugging them into their Satellite receivers, so they can watch Satellite & Terrestrial TV on same box..

so even if i do get one i will not be able to view sports channels which are on a server is that write. and thank you for the quick reply.

No you wont, you'd only be able to watch Freeview channels with it.

You would be better off buying a proper satellite receiver box if you want to get all channels. Something like a Skybox F3 can be got for less than 50 notes...

i have a propper receiver it a dm800hd what i am trying to do is turn it into a dual tuner. sky box f3 is a single tuner.

can this be done with a dvb s2 usb tuner feed a cable from a dish someone on here will no,
