Help with motorized dish

Hi

My setup

Dreambox 800hd
gemini 5.01
1m motorized dish.

I'm trying to set up the motorized dish so it will move to different satellite locations. When I click on the positioner tuner setup menu it says I have not set up my tuner to work with diseqc?.

Mate cant help you to much now, at work. But dont turn that motor untill you give the cable to the lnb more slack, suprising how much it needs.

I have been using the dish with my technomate box and the sat dish turns fine.

have a look at the sticky at the top of the page its all in there how to setup the tuner,if you get stuck theres plenty of us here who are willing to lend a helping hand.

Hey guys I have managed to get the dish turning now by my self. How ever when i point it to arabsat badar 26.e I only get english channels, I don't find the Arabic ones like i do on my technomate?.

well done mate for configuring your tuner, is the motor now hitting all the sats you want to use or just 26e. If you are hitting more sats what channels are clearing on them.

Thanks, got hotbird and astra 28 soughted with all the channels open. Just having trouble getting arabic channels on 26e only finding english channels.

maybe your sub dose'nt cover the channels you are missing, or you have the wrong channel settings for 26e.

The arab channels on arabsat are free, there on my technomate fine the satelite is in the same position when i try it with my dreambox.
