if you load a set of settings , sgt flipflop`s for instance
then you wont be required to do a scan , may help as you only need to find the settings in tuner and away you go , as appose to pissing about in tuner and then scanning

Why dont you guys load Sgt flipflops bouquets and see if that locks on, and it will also save you time by not having to scan the box, and see if anything comes up with a working channle ? if not it might be a tuner issue....... ahhh already explained as i did not see the above post.Last edited by andiewill; 28 March, 2011, 19:30.

i too have just sent my dm800hd tuner back to tony as mine was only picking up channels from 10.7 to 11.700 and even then it wouldnt display them or it would and there was a very load hissing noise over the picture/audio. these new tuners are supposed to be made in japan(ie quality) and be the dogs bollox but it seems there are alot of faults. according to tony the boxs are tested on cctv-5 before they are sent but something is definatley wrong. regards mdtLast edited by mdt; 28 March, 2011, 22:32.DM800HDSE SIM 2.10. in my opinion yaoxin is now supplying very poor quality, about a month back or so i purchased 5 500s from tina at yaoxin and 2 out of the 5 were not working. i also keep reading over and over again about people complaining about tuner issues with there 800hd's. glad i never purchased my 800 from them and would never make the mistake of purchasing anything from them again. maybe once they had a good name but all these recent complaints speak for themselves.

signal locks on fine now in satfinder but picks up no channels during scan
i have added channel listings now with dreamboxedit but have no picture on any channels even though the signal is still at 90%+
I have the pre-installed image on which i belive is gemi 5.1 but on the main screen it says enigma2 loading in the bottom left is this normal? shall i install a new image?Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. I have the only gun on board. Welcome to Con Air.

install a new image compatible with your box/bootloader. Had same problem, which was solved when I installed a new image patched for clones. Infact I couldnt even install cccam with preinstalled 5.1. I used nabilo black hole since, now will try newnigma2Comment
