So...i bought a wirless dongle for my dm800 to try...how do i configure it and add my wep key?

to use a wireless dongle in a dreambox you need a 3g router.

once you get that, put the dongle in the router then the ethernet from the dongle to the dreambox.

to configure ur wireless settings, your router will have no default security so u'll pick it up right away, connect then type the ip address of the router in the web browser, its usually 192.168.1.1 but check as it may be different.

from this point you can set ur security etc on the router.

depending what mobile dongle you have, you might need to add additional settings to connect to the mobile provider.

i have downloaded the pdf manual..but it just mention installing drivers and software for pcs and laptops..will i have to configure on a pc then put in dm to work..
Maybe i should stick to leads

boot the box with the dongle in the usb slot , go into network settings in menu , and here you can config it ,

Let us know if you have any problems. Should be fairly straight forward. You might have to set it up manually so you will have to give it a ip address and know the gateway address.
