May I ask what harddisk most m8 here use? Is it a separate powered 1 tb harddisk or usb powered external ?

The reason is I get pixelized resolution and garbled sounds for recorded playback and I suspect its the harddisk problem. Mine is a external 320G harddisk.

Can anyone shed light on my problem?

OK! Got it to work. I switched from external harddisk (underscrewing and taking apart the cover) to insert as internal harddisk.

Used the same procedure to format and mount harddisk ( 2x blue button and then device manager). But instead of using main menu to initalize the harddisk... I chose tspanel then device manager to initialize disk and that solved my problem (playback pixelized and garbled sounds). The tspanel is from tunisat manager 3.0.

The reason I need to initialize now is becos I tried to do this under main menu and eventually got hdd not present or not initialized thus can only time shift but not record. So for anyone that cannot initialize the harddisk can try my method.

Thanks to everyone to anyone who tried to help.

I am running Dream Elite Phoenix image on a DM800 to stop a recording just press red and it gives you the option to stop recording.

            THE TRUTH
            The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.
