I'm not being harsh its just common sense..!!

If i said i had 20 x Panasonic 60 inch plasma ?89.99 each would you click buy now..??? get my point its common sense

If uk sellers could sell at ?99.99 and make a profit that is what they would be everywhere, but its simple not possible just like a 60 inch plasma at ?89.99

I get what you're saying about common sense, but in this case I don't quite think the same logic applies. Yes, we often said ourselves that ?99 seemed "too good to be true", but it was still within the realms of "a good deal" without being so outlandish that it seemed totally implusible and unrealistic. The fact is, people make all kinds of deals and not all of them are mutually beneficial and profitable. There was still a reasonable chance, albeit not the most probable, that the seller needed to offload a large quanity of dreamboxes fast and was willing to suffer or loss, or forgo a profit. A plasma TV for under ?100 IS unrealistic, and no reasonable person would sell one for that price, regardless of how desperate they were, thus a potential purchaser immediatley rejects this as a credible transaction. A 'good' price for a clone is about ?125 so I don't think it's completley nonsensical to take a risk on a box for ?99.

If Tony at Yaoxin can make money on a box for 130 quid then a box for 100 quid doesnt necessary mean its a scam. Its 30 quid ffs not 100 quid.

Fact n Aliexpress.com you can get single DM800 sim 2.01 M tuner box for $181.16 x $0.63 = ?1 credit card rate used in Escrow = ?114.13 delivered using China Post Airmail (delivery is around 21 days mind you).
So paying ?99.99 to UK seller for clone box is not deemed as being priced way too cheap,UK seller could have bought large batch paid in $s bank transfer, telegraphic transfer to obtain discount & had used a real slow boat from China for delivery to keep costs down.
Majority of us bought the boxes in 1st batch that was advertised that is before noon on the 13th April,no one knew that seller would revise auction & add further to total making 78.
Then no one knew that Ebay in its wisdom would remove advert & sale of goods next morning even after auction had finished & then told buyers to seek recompense via PayPal,banks etc or make contact with seller.
I know I have had to have chargebacks settled in disputes before so not worried, money will be returned in 21 days to me.

Work it out..! ?99.99 free delivery deduct ?8.65, next ebay fee's deduct at least ?6 pay pal fee roughly ?5 you do the maths, So basicly ?80.34 he prob get each box....! You cant get that price buying 25 + from china, you think a uk seller would want to make at least ?25 on a box or what's the point of riskin selling counterfeit boxes..!!

Low quality M tuner dm800 from china can be got in bulk orders at 145 usd good quality pro version with rev L motherboard and m tuner 155 usd, this is current prices

so pro's work out about ?95 in bulk

If you see an offer and the method you use to pay for it is guarantee to return the money, if there is a fraud, well what have you got to lose. I took a chance when I went in to the egg, while Millions around thought there was a catch, and now they are dead.

, I learned a lesson the first time mate. You wanna know something else though? I'll get scammed again in the future - especially if it's eBay/paypal when I'll have nothing to lose and a good deal to gain.

Did it stress me out? No, not even close. We're only talking ?99 here and I'm confident of getting it back.

Did I lose sleep? Certainly not. We're made of stronger stuff here in Belfast. :P

Did it cost me time messing about? Sure, a little. Opening a paypal dispute only takes a couple of clicks.

Do I want to buy magic beans? Well, that depends on what they grow. What the Market price is and how much you're willing to accept.

The lesson I learned in the first instance was not to do business with unverified sellers on forums. There was nothing to learn from this case. People who are willing to have a punt on some cheap goods are rich pickings for fraudsters. Who knows, maybe next time I'll get lucky and save a few quid.

Don't worry mate, they're the ones that go home to ugly wives because they were too afraid to take a risk on the pretty ones.
