Portable External HDD, not showing on DM800 HD

Guys,

I want to record my HD contents after i get my glitching problem sorted!!


Problem: My portable Iomega 1TB is not showing on the DM 800 hd clone.

I have it connected to DM 800 HD via usb

I also had it formated fat32.

It is recognised on my laptop

Please advise

are you using the correct lead that came with it,as i was not and it would not see it,changed lead and rebooted both units after a while it saw it,any settings in menu to activate?

I I have open pli image, I'm using original wire. Also where do I enable USB

Think it needs formatting to ext3 format?

Use HP USB format tool and use FAt32.

Press the blue button, then blue again, then device manager and see if the HDD shows up.
