New HDD install now DM8000 does not boot???

Hi guys do u need to format HDD b4 install??

Checked all cables nothing wrong..managed to get it to boot after leaving the power unplugged for 3 hours!

Went into HD intialize all went fine... then tried timeshift then box frooze and rebooted...and wont boot up again, only gets to the Ferrari screen on OLED, then press the power button below oled box turns off and boots to Ferrari screen again???

and
Brand new Hitachi Barracuda 500GB HDD.
