Dreambox 800hd on all day

Just bought a DB800hd box and gonna get c line number in june when sky contract ends for there tv - what i wanna know is is it neccessary to keep the box on all the time or can you turn it off at night?
Will be using a wifi bridge for the internet access as the internet socket and tv are on different sides of the house

put the box on when you want to view and turn off
when finished.to use a cline as a client only
