    connection problem: Please Help

    Hi,

i have a dm800hd clone running gemini 5.1. was all working fine until yesterday morning when i turned it on and it wasnt connecting to the server i pay to. so i tried getting to the box via flashxp and it wouldnt work, then i tried flashing it again with gemini 5.1 via the web browser and after i clicked flash and wait an hour still nothing happens.

i did access my box ip by holding down the power button...none of my network settings have changed from when all was fine but now when i run the network test, nameserver comes as red.

if someone could shed some light and help me out, it would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Nameserver should be the same ip as the default gateway or basically the ip of the router.
Sounds like your ip settings have changed and you may have Dhcp unticked in Network in the Dreambox.
I find it better having a static ip address for the box so i dint get any conflicts with other wireless things in the home.
Try it with Dhcp disabled and choose your own static ip address.

I have tried with dhcp enabled and disabled, as like before I have got the nameserver set as the IP of the router as you have said it should be. Still no luck.
