    3g connection to dreambox 800hd

    hope someone can help having difficulty connecting my dreambox through 3g connected to laptop ,can get internet to laptop through 3g ,can connect to dreambox with crossover cable with laptop checked with ftp, but cannot for the life of me get my 3g with sharing activated,,,to send the internet to dreambox through crossover cable,can someone please give step by step instructions how i can get this to work ,,its for caravan with no internet, i know i could use router but prefer if i could get this method to work...any help appreciated

      Few threads out there about this i think you need a router mate. Been told this one works fine,

        are people succesfully using pay as you go 3g dongle, routers for there dm800. how many gigs does it use per month might give this a try.

          gotcha

          finally got 3g working through laptop with crossover cable to dm800
          a bit of messing about with ip and network settings but very doable had to use xp system but should also work with windows7,,, picture very good a little stuttering on hd now and again but def very watchable, if any one needs any info lets know il try to help as best as regds,,,,
