    Guide Needed

    Guys,

Been searching for ages but can't seem to find a definate answer.

Anyone know if it's possible to access DM800 recordings from a Pc, change format and then burn them to dvd for viewing on a dvd player?

    Cheers

Never found the need, but all you are required to do is convert the .TS recording to .avi or mpg4 dependent on an SD or HD recording. Then burn to disc.

ConvertXtoDVD, (or similar app), will do the job for you.

You can access the recordings via ftp if networked, you will find them in the media path you have saved to.

when i want a film on dvd
          from my DM800

i use a cheap old capture card like wintv go

then Record to dvd mpeg2 in Real-Time
          with
          WinVDR PRO

then run the mpeg2 file through TMPGEnc DVD Author
to get the vobs add a empty AUDIO_TS folder and burn
