I bet 99% of us have clones.
Nothing is simple,not like cable plug and play but its a journey and worth the effort you wont regret it and will never go back to cable.
Hard at the beginning but all the answers are on the forum and if you get stuck just ask but read as much as you can.

where you getting from? should be ok, as long as you get one wiith latest tuner or dm800 pro.

but you have come to your senses, kv and sv were doomed from day one, went too big, so powers that be had to do something

cheers mate its the dm800 pro i,ve progged cards for ng 1 so hopefully i,ll get mi head round it ,dish already up as i got a humax freesat upstairs, owt i need to aviod when messing with it ,

Your DM800 is a much better box but it's also much more complicated.

Thankfully the DM800 has more or less matured to the point where it no longer suffers from HD glitching, supports genuine unpatched images (with the correct Sim) bringing it (finally) up to the same quality as all the other Dream Multimedia clones.

DM800 Pro is just a standard clone with a Rev M tuner, you might get a Sim 3.0 but usually it's a sim 2.01.

BTW, card programming and setting up a Dreambox are completely different, but if you can prog a card you can easily setup a Dreambox.

think i got the leads i need and router nxt to tv wi kv on it till tomx, its a 2.1 sim i think and pro 800 dont understand the sim biz yet only made up my mind today to f**k kv to bedroom

Get a null modem cable if you aint got one cos at some point you might need it but theres so much support out there for the Dreambox you cant go wrong.

Pro comes with 2 M tuners make sure its the M 801A Tuner.
Better one,i wouldnt bother if its the other one.

The other one i think is the 301A not entirely sure but read its not a patch on the 801A,
Both are Rev M Tuners but the 801A is better,

Good Uk seller is UkDreamshop,you will pay more but very reptable.
Other option is Tony from Yaoxin China and take your chance.Alot cheaper but you might pay import tax.
I wouldnt bother with anyone else so take your pick.
