    Which image for DM800HD clone

    Hi,

    I'm looking to install a new image on my DM800HD clone. My bootloader is 76-r1.

    What would anyone recommend? currently running gemini. I'd like to stay with the well known images, would anyone recommend openpli?

    Regarding openpli, should i go for the stable version 1 or a nightly build?

          You can't use the nightly builds on a clone can you? I didn't think you could.

          In terms of images that have good reviews, I've tried blackhole, openpli and newnigma2 but make sure the image supports your bootloader else you'll end up with a box that won't boot.

          For OpenPLI there is a v2 beta version of this available and there's also a bootloader 82 version of OpenPLI for clones which was just released today.

              dont you jsut love the dreambox community... non stop work! 4 images came out over the past week for the new bootloader. FAB!

                  I should add that the image should support your sim else the box won't boot.

                      iCVS plain image with GP3 plugin installed is more than enough, you get yourself a fast image clean of most rubbish, but still choice is yours

                          Just flashed mine with OpenPli 2.0, with Glass16 Image brilliant with all the plugins

                              this info is irrelevant , please check your sim type before flashing any image !
                              sim2 , ferrari , estar ?
                              only then can you choose an image that is compatable with your box
