Hi. I am using Gemini Project 2 but not sure of the exact version. Is there a way of getting this from the menus.

Never used GP images, the tuner definitely works on dreamelite phoenix & edg nemesis images.

        Hi Bugsy,
Would you have a link to the best image that you think I should change to and I will try that. I am on bootloader 82 sim 2.01.

Am i right in thinking you can only use 1 tuner at one time?
            - I have a DM 800 SE, DVB-S

If I buy a usb DVB-T tuner, I can only use 1 tuner at a time right?
Is it easy to switch tuners quickly?.. What I mean is, is it easy and quick to change from DVB-S to DVB-T?

I'd consider buying one (I have a standard aerial in my room, currently not connected to anything). But is it easy to use and switch forward and back from each tuner?

            - Can someone explain simply how this works?
            - Are there plugins available to make this (USB DVB-T) nice and easy to use?
            - Thanks to those who deserve them, and none to those who don't...

OK, the message I am getting after downloading the AverMedia file is "no supported devices found" so I am assuming either I have a bad DVBt tuner or something else is wrong. Is there any way of testing the USB tuner on a laptp to see if it can be seen as some type of USB device.

Should work mate, go back to post 8 and try a manual install.
Is this the tuner you have.

Hi weedman, usb dvt tuners are handy to install, it's just a matter
of finding the right drivers for the model you have.
Once installed you enable the usb tuner in tuner configuration, scan for channels and all the terrestial channels will be in your channel list along side your sat. channels, no need to change tuners or anything like that.Hope this helps.
                    Cheers,
                    bugsy.

Hi Bugsy, This is the same tuner I purchased. If I use tunistat addons I can download and see the file in the enable page but when I go to enable I get message no supported device available. I have plugged DVBt tuner into port on Laptop and it sees it as a tuner on the USB port. If I use Italyss to download the file it appears to download OK but when I go to the enable screen there is no file to enable same as I was getting before I re flashed.

                        Hi ryange,
Check to see if your usb ports are working, I had this trouble before. Of the two ports the top one only works on my dm800, just trying to eliminate all possibilites.
This tuner definitely works on this image.

                        Cheers,

Hello guys, I have a DM800HD SE (clone) and i bought a Cinergy T Stick RC HD (propably MKII). Can someone explain me what do I have to do to make it work? Do I have to flash my DM with a new image? Do I have to install new plugins, and if yes, how? Excuse me for being a complete newby, a couple of links would be highly appreciated. I'm going to try manual install from step 8 for start...

So.. with these usb dvb-t sticks, you can then record one channel and watch another technically right?
