weak tuner - had in on mates DM800HD - wouldn't get HD with the exception of maybe 1 channel. The thing that gave it away in the end was that even the freeview HD stuff wasn't appearing!
Either get the box swapped or if you fancy some messing - buy an upgraded tuner (links on the forums here) or just do a Google for it. Open your box and see what tuner you have in there.
can you please guide how i check the .cfg file... Just to clearify i can see all normal channels but not HD ones... Thanks in advance
Connect to the box with something like Flashfxp you will find it in downloads if you havent got it.
Connect to the dreambox and find the file etc, open it and scroll down till you see ccam.cfg.
Right click on the file with your mouse and press view there you will see what you need,

ok from what your saying you can see all the other channels ,can you see normal sports and movies and such and your saying HD not showing if so its who your getting them off thats at fault if you are seeing normal channles then there is nothing wrong with .cfg file if there was youd see nothing
if you cant clear FTA hd channels
like BBC HD BBC1 HD ITV HD
then it wont be nothing to do with cfg files
take the lid off remove the back plate
then slide out the tuner
put it al back together
you can only try
Sounds like faulty motherboard to me, think tuner is ok i seen one that rebooted everytime a hd channel was zapped the box just rebooted straight away, i reckon faulty tuner or motherboard process of elimation to find out witch is damaged
Guys i am not getting any sound on few HD channels like sky news decovery Nat geo ect picture ok
Have you tried them with just a scart? Might be a faulty dvi to hdmi cable i would start with that.
Dont think it will be the audio button on remote that normally affects the music channels so give the dvi cable a good shove in mate.
