prior to attempting the browser and bootloader flash please make sure you have both the image and bootloader ssl you require both unpacked ! this method stops the ca error and is a safe method, particularly useful is you dont have a serial to usb cable.
disconnect power plug rear of dreambox 800
hold the silver standby button front of dreambox
CONTINUE TO HOLD STANDBY BUTTON and replug the power cable to rear of dreambox
you will see stop appear on lcd, once you see stop release standby button
now type in ip address of your dreambox into your internet browser firefox 4 doesnt work but previous versions do, you do not need to type http just type the numbers and dots i.e 192.168.1.32 press enter
you will now see a broadcom chip, scroll down to bottom of page and click on firmware upgrade
you will now press choose and open the .nfi file (the unpacked image file)
now press flash, you may have to wait a minute or two before anything happens, then you will see 0-100% at the top of the screen once the upgrade reaches 100% DO NOT REBOOT! press back button and choose the bootloader assiociated with the image i.e ssl76d.nfi and open and press flash and wait for 100% then reboot
hope this help and prevents the "c/a error" on lcd
