Question about DM8000 with Ferrari SIM - image

Hello, I just check a DM8000 clone I got. I have questions. 1. How can I check what bootloader I have and what SIM to be sure? I see that Ferrari SIM card is inside the motherboard. 2. Can I install this image without problems: Ferrari-SSL78F-newnigma2-release-dm8000-v3.2.1 I ask because I dont want to install an image that doesnt work Thanks for help. regards

switch your box on and off at the rear and the box should say what sim/bootloader is installed on the oled screen at boot up. regards mdt

you could get yourself a patched image with ssl76 built in or upgrade your ssl loader to the one you mentioned as it has got the bootloader built in. although i have a sim 2.01 dm800hd the proceduer should be the same for the dm8000 as long as you use the ferrari card image with the ssl bootloader built in you should be fine. let us know if it works, regards mdt
