    My 8000 won't flash HELP!!!

Hi all, I have a genuine 8000 and it's been months and months from I last flashed it. It's getting a bit slow so I want to try a change but when I try to flash the image it doesn't seem to want to upload the image at all. It either won't go to the uploading window or once it does it just hangs there and won't upload the image at all.

I have tried a couple of pcs/laptops and getting the same response. The only thing I can think of is I now have BT infinity so have had a change of router. Would there be a hardware firewall or something?

    Any help is appreciated...

I've tried IE, Opera and Firefox mate, no luck with any of them. Am trying to flash now via dreamup and it seems to be stuck on calculating checksum?!?!

This happened months ago when I was trying to flash an 800 and I thought nothing of it and just flashed it via dreamup but no such luck this time.

Have tried a new image, wouldn't flash via browser but seems to have passed the calculating checksum on dreamup. Now just have to wait 70 mins(!!!) to see if it works.

                GOT IT!!!

Decided I'd give it a go with my old duff Dell laptop running XP. Worked first time

Trying Nabilo Blackhole as it seems to get decent feedback.

Any other good ones as I have always used openPli but was finding ImportEPG very temperamental

I have had the same problem. Won't flash using Vista or windows 7 but flashes using XP. Does anyone know how to flash using windows 7 as my xp pc is about to expire.

I'm using Rytec UK via EPGImport on openpli but it's not working. Does any have an xml file with the correct settings in it for satmate?
