Motor Preference

I currently have a dm500 working by motor and it is working very well, but i have upgraded to a dm800hd, should i use disq for my motor or usals? what do people recomend? will i have to add the satelitte xml file again?

If your motor and dish and properly aligned, and your mount is vertical, then USALS is the easiest option. You can also use a combination of USALS and Diseqc 1.2 to maximise the signal on sats that USALS doesn't get quite right.

I use USALS with a DM800 and it's perfect.

i always use non usals for dm800 setups just allows me to work my dish a bit more and maxamise signal but its just my opinion
