Red light blinking; showing "error!" on the dreambox?

Hey,

I truned on my dreambox 800HD and the red light is blinking mad and it shows "error!" the screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

if it says ca error you need to reflash the box using dreamup mate

DM800's aren't the greatest at booting first time. If you turn it off at the mains for 2-3 minutes, then try again it should work. If not, you need to reflash your image.

after approx 15 seconds red light starts blinking.
Worried immediately I switched off the box.
Remove the tuner, press the SIMCARD firmly to contact
points on the motherboard, when I power on, it is the
same scenario- redlight blinking.
As you do have much experience, please let me know
what I should do. Is it an IC? What further tests you would suggest?

will the box go into "flash mode" ? . apply power and keep "on" button pressed , if it goes into flash mode just re-flash it mate

Issue with Dreambox 800 Clone (SL84B Bootloader and OPEN PLI Skin)

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue as SOUTHPAW, in that I tried to re-flash by DreamBox 800 Clone (SL84B Bootloader and OPEN PLI Skin) and the dreambox screen appears on my TV for about 30 seconds and then goes blank (No Input Detected) and the Red Light On The Box Keeps Blinking..

I would really appreciate if anyone with more knowledge about dreamboxs could assist.

I tried to re-flash it, via the IP Address and it reboots after flashing but still comes up with the flashing red light.
