dreambox 800 set up

hi my dreambox was working perfectly until recently as somehow everything got deleted i have no channels come up as n/a and i have set it up all again from the beginning but i don't know what to and how to start so any help would be appreciated thanks

i take it you bought this box ready to go from new, if for what ever reason you have factory reset this box it will have deleted some little bit of magic that the person you bought it from put on it from the start. you will not be able to recover this without contacting the person to put it back on. this is not saying the box is no good without it but it wont open the channels until you get that bit of magic put on.

the magic your talking about is that line that you need to enter to view all the subscribe channels? if so i no what the line is but i the box needs all the setting ie adding the bouqets tuner setttings and all that but i don't no how to do all that and the channels come as n/a

Download Dreamboxedit and the 28.2 channel list from SgtFlipFlop. Edit the dreamboxedit settings with your DB IP. Load the channel list and transfer it to the dreambox.

hi thanks for that but do you no the settings to set for sky on service searching and all that?

In service searching? Off the top of my head its 'simple configuration', 'single satellite', then select 28.2 and keep the rest of the settings as default, assuming your using a fixed dish.
