best image for dm800 clone

dreamelite pheonix edition.

This is the image for me what I like about it, its very modern looking. Easy to use. Not complicated so the Mrs likes it. I also find a lot of other images out there look very standard. It has good EPG support (think that can be said for all images on the 800)

Before this I used the nabilo Blackhole image. They are both very similar but I never could get the youtube plugin working with that also I found the server could be down often.

Would be good if this was a poll as mentioned.

I have been thinking about changing my image just for a change but cant bring myself to do it, I do love this image

Install BarryAllen and extract images to hdd
I try this method and it's pretty effective

after loads of messing about i found the newnigma2 out of downloads is very good image. for epg on this image i get full 7 days.

here is how i did it. i flashed my box with newnigma2 out of downloads, i had to set the av using the display on the front of box.

after all usual set up ie. putting on 2.2.1 cccam and tuner set up ect.
you have the box working you now need to download crossepg. so press blue button and select tspanel and download crossepg. then re start your box. now go to menu, steup, crossepg, configure, set storage to harddisk, turn all the other answers to yes, schedualed downlod to once a day, now set a time good for your box to do epg download. mine is set for 7.30am then press red to come out. now go to xmltv providers. pick what epg you want my epg sky uk. now go to update rytec providers selsct and this will auto update providers, now exit out of the cross epg. now go to plugins and select crossepg downloader, this will download all epg. re start the box and you have full 7 days epg. please note this has to have harddrive of some sort for this to work. this image is for clone sim 201 make sure the image you flash is for your box. the image is in downloads at top of this page
every thing you need is on this site to get up and working.
i think the image looks really good and it stable.

Guys Im after an image for my dm800 which has an epg working and ccam 2.1.3.

can I load this from FTP. Be grateful for some info. Want it stable and able to have epg and ccam 2.1.3.

Hi, If you want a stable image then the dream elite image as mentioned before is great I ran it for a good few months until I got bored then I tried a few until I settled on Nemesis2-3-dm800-SVN(093)-ramiMAHER .It takes a little getting used to and tinkering buts its stable and fast.
If you want a good epg then coolmans tv guide is the best ive used with crossepg you get full listing all the time,but this is just my opinion.

ITs all in the stickies ie flashing image with browser.The coolmans is an epg similar to the sky one I got it by installing the Tspanel version 3.6(google) the newer one is unstable I think.
The only prob you may find is you may need an external storage device like usb stick or hard drive to save your epg data on,could someone else confirm this please as I have only personal experience of this.
The image I got from googling dreambox clone images and looking through the sites.
Just make sure you get correct image for your sim mines 201 but the new dms are 210
