New to CS finding all this info of great benifit, thanks for all your hardwork.
when I go to edit transpoder data I seem to dont seem to get the same options as you have in your image. Example there is no fec 8/9 in drop down list.
any ideas?

What version of DreamBoxEdit are you using?

Installes V 4.1.0.0 and made chages still no joy. attached image. Cant see what im doing wrong?

the way i do it:

service finding
manual scan
transponder scan
enter freq, etc. (10847, 23000 8/9
then select free to air only = yes leave others as no.
and ok

takes a few seconds and finds BBC HD, BBC1 HD and another with just a number.
try it!!

Tried that no joy.
Did a automatic scan and only found cetain channels. didnt find BBC D SlY sports 3 HD Sly Sports 2 and lots more. Totally confused

did you do a manual scan and put in the correct values?

I've also got the same problem with BBC 1 HD. The weird thing is that I definitely remember it was working when I had the newest dream elite image installed but I don't think it worked when I had the open pli image installed and definitely doesn't work now on the blackhole phoenix image.

Did you import your boutiques from the attachment in the sticky? Could this be the problem?

Also i noticed that blackhole has the automatic resize plugin installed. I also installed this on the open pli image.

Might be worth listing your plugins.

go to setup
sat searching
manual scan
single transponder, dvb-s, 28.2, 10847, auto, 23000, vert, 7/8, no, no, yes.

takes 5-10 seconds and finds BBC HD, BBCone HD & 6945.
if not then maybe theres something wappy with your images!!

Symbol rate requires another 0 - doesn't it?

Managed to get mine working using the following settings:

frequency: 10847000
symbolrate: 23000000
other parameters: 2:1
FEC: 7/8
Polarisation: Vertical

Edited in dreambox edit and uploaded and now working.

But whats "other parameters: 2:1"

If you edit BBC 1 HD in dreambox edit you can modify this parameter. If it helps i could send you the working bouquet I have.
