Unable to access File mode

Hello,
Please can somebody help me. I have a DB500s running Nabilosat Darkstar 2. When i go to Menu, File mode with remote control i can see the ROOT but when VAR/ETC is selected there is nothing there-only GO UP.
Dos anyone has any clue why i am not able to access this on TV.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

if your trying to access cccam.cfg to edit it you will have to do it with dream control center ,you can download it from the last link in my signature area.

Many thanks for your reply but i am using DCC already. My problem is that i can not see var/etc when a dreambox is in file mode on TV.

Why dont you try something like Flashfxp.
Make sure the ip addrees of the box is correct for it to connect.

can you access var/etc when the box is not in file mode ? ,i know your box is a dm500 with nabilo image but exactly what are you wanting to do .
