    dm800s scan problem

Hi, I have a dm 800s running black hole firmware with a 1 meter motorised dish.
I can recieve all channels on some sats. There are some sats which I can get a lock on, but when scanned do not pick up any channels.
The sats that are not a problem are 28, 19, 13, 9, east and 7 west.

      I had a same problem.
You can try to update you satellite.xml file
You can just simply log on satellites-xml.eu
and the just generate file for your set up and simply upload to you box.

You certain your long and lat are correct?
You dont put them in exactly how they read.

I tried entering the frequencies from lyngsat, using manual scan, but still no joy.
The box has the latest vhannibal motor settings. Do the motor settings not have the bouquets and frequencies i need in there or do I need bouquets as well?
If I had put the long and lat in wrong would i still be able to get the sats that I have already?

If you put in the wrong long and lat the dish will drive to a different position and you will pick up jack shit.
You can be slightly out and this can actually improve things if your dish is out but it has to be somewhere near to the proper long and lat settings.
