Clone Dreambox 800

Hi Guys (newbie)just received my clone DM800 and has the following
specification : boot82, gemi5.1, sim2.01 -
Dish is facing Astra -28.8E.
Should i flash the image ,bouquets ,..etc ???????

Well yes you should add bouquets...

also if you dont want to use the gemini image flash another image over. By the looks of things most people like Dreamelite Pheonix edition image. My favourite but thats my opinion you may be different.

Yeah thats the image on the link above.

Also bouquets can be downloaded on here SGTFlipFlop sticky within dreambox forum. These are very good I just edit them slightly to suit my needs i.e. I add a 'All Channels' bouquet. These are updated often on here.

........should i back up my image or there is no needthe b(there was a cd with the box with a editor and some tools) ?

If you have made done anything to the image that came with the receiver i.e. bouquets, cccam any plugins and so on then it is always best practice to make a backup incase you need to go back.

But if you have done nothing personally I wouldnt bother backing it up mate.

hi champs ,just a quick update ...i flashed via network (UNOFFICIAL DREAM ELITE V.133DV3 PHOENIX EDITION ) and all went succesful and then i upload the baquets with dreamedit SGTFlipFlop_SkyUK latest file and all OK....only problem now is that SFV white card wont open(i have just basic pack-5,uSA etc.)........anyone know what im doing wrong as before i flashed to the new image i could open these(i have tested white card in my amstrad 280 sky box and they open ok)...any help much appreciated

....does this mean when i flashed the new image(UNOFFICIAL DREAM ELITE V.133DV3 PHOENIX EDITION ) it didnt have a sim so i have to reinstal it and it deleted the one from my previous image that came with the clone(boot82, gemi5.1, sim2.01 ) ???

... i flashed this image but i dont really like to much, anyway i got it to work by blue button -ccam- and changed the common interface to ccam 2.1.3 and it opened the channels

...but i didnt like the image so i flashed back to UNOFFICIAL DREAM ELITE V.133DV3 PHOENIX EDITION and blue button ccam-but it only gives me the common interface option only so i suppose i have to instal the ccam 2.1.3 manually ,...anyone know where i should find it and how to upload ???
