Need Help

I got a dm800hd today and am having problems setting up.

Firstly I did a scan at 28.2 and got over 1000 channels but hardly any play even the fta ones like bbc. Some seem to have a signal bar on the left and the fta ones of these play but the others don't have this bar and don't play.

What happens when you change to say the free to air BBC channel? Are you sure your dish is correctly aligned?

Got it working on that now, the lnb was loose.

Is there any way to scroll through channels faster ? I've got over 1000 on 28.2 and need to find away to move quicker.

Also is there a way to scan for fta only or group them like sky for easier navigation ?

Dm800s are nortorious for being slow to move through the channels.Only a well laid out set of bouquets will help you with your channels.
If you pm your email you can have mine in 28.2 or multi sats.
I use Catseyes and tinker with them to suit my needs.

i always use sgt flip flips channel list
gives everything you need
you will need enigma2 lists
i use the multi as i have motorised dish

Mark use the FlipFlop bouquets like others have suggested. Did you manage to get your dish to move?

No not got dish moving yet. Still trying to setup the network using vonets.

If I can't get vonets to work how else can I get dreamedit onto the dreambox and these other files ?
