Setting Up Cccam ?

Just got a dm800clone and spent a day or so setting up the network and wireless bridge. I downloaded a bouquet and can get all the fta channels.

I'm now looking to add cccam and try out a couple of the free trials I saw following some google links.

How do I add this to my receiver ?

do u know how to use ftp programs ? https://rapidshare.com/files/359017226/ftp.free.rar install this add your boxes ip address and login and password and connect then open var folder folder and then ect folder and drag ccam out delet all the writing on the note pad file and but your info u get onto that and drag back in

i use dream edit mate on a dm500 .advise you to check out you tube on cccam not aloud to talk about it on here m8 very helpful .

we are allowed to talk about cccam.. just not what goes INTO cccam cfg file

I used the ftp program to get into my dreambox and found the var folder but don't have a folder folder so opened the etc folder but didn't find cccam at all.

What do I need to do ?

sorry m8 havnt got a 800 have 500s and 600s it might be just the ect folder , lm sure will answer in a minute

have u install cccam cam yet ie blue button downloads install ccam 2.1.4 ? wont be there till u install a cam

What are blue button downloads and how do I do that ?

on your remote press blue button and menu will come up and download menu and a list off ccams

Thanks for the old thread. I too have this problem, as I installed it on my DM800 HD and no matter how many times I installed or uninstalled, and used 3 different versions of Cccam, blue button, and even manual install I couldn't get a CFG file to appear. Will take a look at that guide.

I'm using my own card, and luckily I got all channels on Sly to work apart from the movie/sky sports, without the cfg boxkey edit. I hope this will help me

I went into the blue button programming and don't see anyway to get the cccam loaded.

I seem to have just an open cam loaded but no option to change it.

Ok i've got the cccam loaded and can see the cfg file via ftp.

I actually have lots of cfg files such as cccam 1.cfg and 2.cfg

Can someone let me know what I need to do now to clear some channels via pm or here if allowed.

Ok so i've got cccam loaded and lots of cccam.cgf files numbered from 0 to 8.

If I managed to get a cccam line where would I input the details to get it working ?
